The unrest and conflict that began in the English-speaking regions of Cameroon in late 2016 continues to spread and intensify. Caught in the crossfire are thousands of innocent civilians who suffer death, injury, destruction of property, arrest without charge and displacement from their homes. Current UN estimates indicate more than 300,000 internally displaced persons. NAB missionaries in Cameroon, together with the Cameroon Baptist Convention, have the opportunity to tangibly meet needs of victims of the conflict. Some of our medical missionaries tend to the wounded on a daily bases. The Cameroon Crisis Relief  Fund has been created by the Cameroon Baptist Convention in Partnership with  North American Baptist to assist in alleviating some of the suffering.
Funds will be used to assist payment of medical bills of the wounded, education for displaced children and food for arrested prisoners.
