Cameroon Baptist Convention Youth and Student Department (CBCYSD) envisions Youths Passionate for Christ’s Purpose for Their Lives and the World. As its mission, The Department is a Fellowship of Youth organization of the Churches of the Cameroon Baptist Convention united for the Purpose of Christian Fellowship, Discipleship, Evangelism, Worship and cooperative efforts in strengthening and extending the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ in Cameroon and the World.



The    CBCYSD is made of three sub-wings, the Young Adults (YA), Boys Brigade (BB) and 3H (Head, Heart and Hands for Christ). BB and 3H are boys and girls respectively from 7years of age to about 15years and the YA is made up of both Boys and girls above 16years.   CBCYSD works to move youth to their God’s given Purpose, establishing them in their walk with God.
The fellowship focuses on the development of the Cameroonian youth by contributing to the holistic development of this generation for a positive change in the society through holistic outreach to youths and the society. We carry out programs like Camps, Retreats, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops to equip and build our youth.

CBCYSD works with and through local partners among which are Schools, Churches, local media, and council/ government and local authorities. Through these partnerships, we easily access target communities and academic institutions despite cultural and denominational barriers. Partnerships with private local media authorities enable CBCYSD carry out wider community ministration/education, sensitization to youths through local/-community radios, camps, picnic, retreat and workshops.
