Bethany Baptist Church Buea Town Inducts Pastor

The induction service of Rev. Ngeke Peter Ikomi as senior pastor of Bethany Baptist Church Buea Town has been organized on Sunday 28th March 2021.Present during the event is the CBC Director of Evangelism and Missions Rev. Dr Wose Paul Mokake, Soppo Field Pastor Rev Dr Liombe Timothy, some Christians from Kumba and Soppo Fields as well as family members.

Rev. Dr Wose Paul, guest speaker preached from Ephesians 4:11-16 under the caption “Tapping on the grace for ministry”. He urged his audience especially Pastors to identify and operate under their gifts and above all recognize their assignments and sail through by equipping ministers for ministry. Focusing on the equipping capacity which makes the difference and not the sitting capacity. He concluded his homily encouraging Pastors to be equippers and not entertainers.Rev. Dr Liombe Timothy performed the induction rites wherein Rev. Ngeke Peter pledged his loyalty and dedication to his Pastoral calling as his confession paved the way for his installation by the Soppo Field Pastor.In his charge to the newly installed minister, Rev. Dr Liombe Timothy read from Matthew. 20:24-28.

It is worth mentioning that Rev. Ngeke Peter was serving at the Cameroon Baptist Seminary in Kumba before moving to Bethany Baptist Church as senior pastor where he has been for six months. He holds a Masters in Christian Education from the Ecwa Theological seminary in Nigeria. He is married and blessed with a daughter.
