By Clementina Njang Yong The Executive President (EP) of the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Rev. Dr. Nditemeh Charlemagne has spoken words of comfort and encouragement to leaders of the CBC Health Services. Rev, Dr. Nditemeh was speaking during the Leaders Meeting in Yaounde where all leaders of the CBC Health Services had convened for a dual event – the Leaders Meeting which was preceded by Goals and Budgets session from November 17-19, 2022.
The EP used the occasion to acknowledge that health care delivery is witnessing trying times, but he called on all leaders to pray ceaselessly in the exercise of their duties in the Lord’s vineyard. He equally encouraged togetherness and collaboration between all Hospitals and Health Centers of the Organization to ensure sustainability at all levels and to create a balance in healthcare service delivery in all communities.
Activities and as informed by the CBC culture, started daily with devotions. In a devotional thought during the opening session on November 17, Reverend Ngwa Oliver, Chaplain of the CBC Health Services Mvan Resource Center drew inspiration from Proverbs 24: 27, and Luke 14: 28 – 30. He corroborated these verses with what Taylor Tollison said, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. To this, he prayed for the institution to realize their goals for 2023 after this session of self-evaluation that will be followed by vision implementation, and application of planned activities.
