CBC Executive President Inducts Yaoundé Field Pastor

The CBC Executive President Rev. Dr Nditemeh Charlemagne has inducted Rev. Jumbuin Enock as Yaoundé Field Pastor on Sunday November 7,2021 at Etoug-Ebe Baptist Church. Inducting the Rev Jumbuin, the Executive President charged him to preach the truth, avoid tribalism in his leadership, to use the pulpit to pull down obstacles and not to be an obstacle himself. He went on to call on the Yaoundé Field Pastor to uphold fairness and justice being conscious there is no perfect church or society . He was then handed the sword of office by the chairman of the Field Mr. Sofa Jacque.

Earlier on the message of the day was brought forth by Rev. Dr Isaac Mbeng of Victory Baptist Church Douala from 1st Corinthians 6:3-10. Titling his message “sorrowful yet always rejoicing” , the man of God said in time of tribulations ,Christians should not treat others irrationally but should show kindness and live by the truth. He proceeded to talk about the paradox of a Christian’s life, although always mixed with up and down experiences , they have Jesus who cares therefore, always have indomitable joy in Jesus.

Responding to the several charges , the newly inducted Yaoundé Field Pastor , Rev. Jumbuin Enock promised his work will be centered on the acronym ” THID” Truth Holiness Integrity and Development. It was a colorful event attended by many Christians among whom were the Governor of the Centre Region, the Former President of the CBC Hon Joseph Chebongkeng , former G.S emeritus Rev. Dr Donald Ndichafah , Vice President of the CBC, Mrs. Diana Ekema , the CBC Education Secretary, Mr Nyanganji Job.
