The CBC Education Department has inaugurated two new facilities at CBC Nursery and Primary School Magba, Noun Division of the West region. The inauguration of the Sustainable Inclusive Education Resource Centre and a water project was done on Wednesday September 8 2021 under the supervision of the CBC Education Secretary Mr. Nyanganji Job Indi.
This double gesture was handed to the school by the CBC Education Department in partnership with the CBC Health Services through the Sustainable Inclusive Education Program (SIEP) with the cooperation and collaboration of the Liliane Foundation of the Netherlands- a partner organization that has been assisting the CBC ED and the CBCHS in ensuring that none is left behind as far as education is concern since 2018 till date. It should be noted that CBC N P S Magba has a total enrolment of 811 with a total of 38 children living with disabilities. This resource center that is aimed at assisting these children with special needs is embed with desk-stop computers with assistive learning devises such as white canes, sound recorders, headphones, photocopy machines, printers, scanners, projectors, brails, rims of papers among others. Beside the center is a pothole water closet with six stand taps and a bore hole constructed to supply portable water to the school and also to the entire school community of Magba sub Division.
The CBC Education Secretary while appreciating the partners of these projects categorically stated that the resource center and the water project will not only be beneficial to the pupils of CBC N P S Magba but also to the entire Magba community. He therefore called on them to use these facilities judiciously.
The Sustainable Inclusive Education Program by the CBCHS in partnership with the CBC ED is out to contribute to development by supporting the Cameroon Government to ensure an inclusive society.
