The Ebenezer family of Churches has organized a successful 2021 mega missions conference. This was on Sunday 14th February at Ebenezer Baptist Church Down Beach in Limbe with close to two thousand worshippers. The theme for the event was ” Suffering as part of Missions” from 2 Cor. 4:7-10. Pastor Bimi Godlove, the guest speaker challenged believers to be ready to stand with Christ in the battlefield for the Gospel to move to all areas of the world. In their suffering for the sake of the Gospel, the good news is that Christ will not abandoned them in the Missions field and just as He was with the Apostle Paul, so 2 will He with the Church of today. A fundraising offering was collected with over 15 daughter and granddaughter Churches of EBC Down Beach present as they gave per congregation to support missions. Speaking to the microphone of CBC Radio, Rev. Ewule John, senior pastor of EBC Down Beach said the money raised is expected to support Churches which are not financially strong in the Ebenezer family. This support will enable these Churches carry the Gospel of Christ to other areas. Last year, over 1.2 million cfa francs was raised during the 2020 mega missions conference. The presence of different choirs such as the Evangelism choir of Alfred Saker Baptist Church, the youth choir of EBC Down Beach, NACOMEC, Alfred Saker Gospel choir and Saker Baptist college choir all graced the event with melodious songs to the glory of God. The drama club of EBC Down Beach presented a wonderful drama on the challenges of missions especially those faced by Pastors and their families. The program ended with the ordinance of the Lord’s supper officiated by Rev. Ewule John.
