Pastor Nsah David of Gethsemane Baptist Church Bokoko(GBC) has officially been commissioned into office as Pastor in charge of Paradise Baptist mission station in Liwuh la Malale. This was on Sunday 18th April 2021 in GBC Bokoko, the mother congregation. The event was graced with a powerful sermon from the guest speaker, Rev. Mbame Manga, Soppo Association Pastor who drew inspiration from Jer. 3:15 on the caption “The Gift” referring to Pastors as refined product from God to care for the sheep as stated in Ephesians. 4:11-12. He also challenged Pastors to put God at the center of their ministry and not neglect their responsibility to guide Christians with knowledge and understanding. Believers on their part, are to pray for their Pastors, provide for their needs, pay attention to sermons and teachings as well as respect them. The powerful homily paved the way for the induction rites carried out by Rev. Dr Liombe Timothy, Soppo Field Pastor. Pastor Nsah David pledged to remain faithful and diligent to his personal and private devotion, live a life of prayer and ready to share the Gospel of Christ. Upon his believe and confession, Rev. Dr Liombe Timothy declared him inducted. Rev. Benjamin Lyonga, senior pastor of GBC Bokoko and Rev. Mbame Manga performed the dedication prayer. In his charge to the newly inducted Pastor, Soppo Field Pastor read from Matthew. 20:24. It is worth mentioning that Pastor Nsah David has been serving at Paradise Baptist mission station Liwuh la malale from 2018 to present.
