Saker Baptist College on the spotlight

Saker Baptist College on the spotlight

The CBC Education Secretary Mr. Nyanganji Job has visited some schools in the country to monitor effective school resumption in CBC institutions. The ES was impressed with measures taken by the various school administrators to bar the way to the COVID -19 pandemic in any of the campuses. The schools have been disinfected; teachers and students have been wearing face masks and respecting social distancing. The number of students per class remains 24 as prescribed by the Ministry of Secondary Education. There is enough water, soap and hand sanitizers to practice hand hygiene. On Wednesday 3rd May 2020 while visiting Saker, the ES was impressed with the quality of work done at the Saker Baptist College to give the entrance into institution a facelift.

It should be noted that the ES met with the PTA, ex-students and the School Administration on January 23rd 2020 to lay the groundwork for the reconstruction of the Saker gate and Fence which was destroyed following the construction and tarring of the entrance to Saker Baptist College. The fence and gate have been reconstructed giving the institution a new look. It should be noted that Saker is one of best Post Primary institutions in the Country. The tarring of its entrance will further boost the image of the institution.
