By Yvette Jimah

Pastors Kui George, Ngong Derick and Chefor Ernest are the newest ordained Ministers in Mankon Association of the Cameroon Baptist Convention. They were ordained on April 29,2022 after individually responding in the affirmative to the questions posed on the respect of the CBC Constitution and Bylaws, their ministerial calling, Doctrinal issues amongst others.

Reacting to their response amidst shouts of joy , the Executive President’s representative Reverend Minang George declared them ordained ministers of the CBC. The over 500 Christians present joined the ministers of Bethel and Bamenda Fields to dedicate the newly ordained to God. The three Reverends were presented with the Sword of office by the Bethel Field Pastor Ndi Jonathan and showered with gifts in love and kind.

Preaching on day two of the Mankon Association Bible Conference, Guest speaker Pastor Ngek Marcelius called on all to make things right with God,one another and themselves in order to experience true peace. He was developing Isaiah 1:15-20 on the theme “The Legs of Shalom; Truth and Equity”. Pas Ngek urged the Christians to deny themselves the luxury of keeping enemies. The conference was spiced by choir ministration, greetings, enriching workshop, health talk and free screening. The 3day Mankon Association Bible Conference ends on April 30 with the Lord Supper to be officiated at by Reverends Kui George, Ngong Derick and Chefor Ernest.
