Zion Baptist Church Bonaberi-Douala inducts Pastor

Rev. Eke Hans Moki has been inducted as the senior pastor of Zion Baptist Church Bonaberi-Douala. The event on Sunday 7th March 2021 unfolded in the presence of some CBC Clergies, Christians and family members.Rev. Dumsi Hitler, Douala Field Pastor officiated the induction rites wherein Rev. Eke Hans pledged to remain a faithful servant of God, preaching the whole counsel of God in season and out of season. He also re-affirmed his believe in Jesus Christ, Savior of mankind.The Douala Field Pastor charged the newly inducted to preach God’s Word (2 Tim. 2:1), live and set godly example ( Titus 2: 7) and be a Shepherd (1 Pet. 5:12).The sermon of the day was presented by Pastor Tata Elvis, Pastor of Mount Moriah Baptist Church Douala. He drew inspiration from the book of Joshua 1:1-9 under the caption ” Leaning on God: the minister’s  source of courage and success in ministry”. His focus was on the fact that a minister is chosen, empowered and guided by God. Making reference to Biblical Joshua who succeeded in ministry because God’s Word did not depart from his mouth. He meditated and obeyed Scriptures.The occasion was graced with special presentations from Evangelism and Salem Choirs.The newly inducted appreciated all those who made it for the program especially the sacrifices made by the Christians of Zion Baptist Church to see that the event is a success. Rev. Eke Hans Moki is a holder of a Diploma in Theology. He has served as Field Pastor in  Soppo and Kumba, CBC chaplain University of Buea, and national deputy secretary of the CBC Ministers Fellowship amongst others.
