The Cameroon Baptist Convention Education Department (CBCED) is transforming the landscape of education in Cameroon by pioneering inclusive, Christ-centered, and academically rigorous learning environments across the country. Founded in 1970, the CBC Education Department operates with a mission rooted in Matthew 28:19-20—to provide sound, quality Christian education as an expression of God’s love and witness. The department serves learners from diverse backgrounds, including children with disabilities, orphans, internally displaced students, and underserved communities.
A National Footprint with Kingdom Impact
CBCED’s network includes:
- 135 Nursery School structures
- 167 Primary School structures
- 35 Secondary and High School structures
These schools are not only places of academic instruction—they are centers for spiritual formation, discipleship, and inclusive development. By integrating Christian values into the curriculum, CBCED helps students develop character, faith, and purpose in addition to academic knowledge.
