Rev. Dr. Teke John Ekema

Inducted 2025 as the 15th chief executive and 2nd Executive President of the Cameroon Baptist Convention — dedicated servant of God committed to advancing the Kingdom through faithful stewardship and visionary leadership.

Vision: Peace & Wholistic Development

The Cameroon Baptist Convention is governed through a congregational form of church government, with the General Session serving as the highest decision-making body. Delegates from all 33 fields, 1,535 congregations, and eleven departments gather to discern God's direction for the Convention.

Under the spiritual and administrative leadership of the Executive President, CBC continues its mission of proclaiming the Gospel holistically — through churches, hospitals, schools, radio stations, and community development programmes that touch every region of Cameroon.

Our leadership is committed to peace, wholistic development, transparency, and faithful stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to this Convention for over seven decades.
